A National Specialty is one of the most important annual events hosted by a national breed club. For Vizsla Canada, it is our premier conformation event celebrating both Smooth and Wirehaired Vizslas and the people who love, breed, train, handle, and live with them.
While a National Specialty includes formal judging in the show ring, it is much more than a dog show. It is a national gathering point for the Vizsla community — a place to celebrate our breeds, connect across regions, learn from one another, honour member achievements, and strengthen the future of Smooth and Wirehaired Vizslas in Canada.
2018 National Specialty Results The 2018 National Specialty was held July 21, 2018, at Hazelmere Campground, Surrey, BC, in conjunction with The Sporting Dog Spectacular Group 1 Specialties hosted by Sporting Dog BC. Congratulations to all the exhibitors on a successful event!
