There are achievements worth celebrating — and then there are achievements that make breed history.
Vizsla Canada is delighted to recognize Sarga’s Honorable Tikka CD RN, who has become the first Wirehaired Vizsla in Canada to earn a High in Trial in Obedience.
High in Trial recognizes the dog-and-handler team earning the highest qualifying score in an obedience trial, making Tikka’s accomplishment an exciting milestone not only for her team, but for the Wirehaired Vizsla in Canada.
Tikka’s achievement is also a wonderful reflection of the versatility of the breed. While Vizslas are deeply rooted in their history as versatile hunting dogs, their intelligence, trainability and close partnership with their people can shine across an extraordinary range of activities.
For Canada’s relatively small Wirehaired Vizsla community, having a dog become the first of the breed in the country to achieve this distinction is something particularly special.
Sarga’s Honorable Tikka CD RN is owned by Mathieu Crête, Anton Sagh and Regina Gasselsdorfer and was bred by Anton Sagh and Regina Gasselsdorfer of Sarga Kennel.
Congratulations to Tikka and everyone behind her on this historic accomplishment.
